I haven't read this book but I absolutely loved this review. It's so important to recognize the incredible women who've shaped music over the years. Thanks for highlighting these legends!

Yes! Your images of Debbie Harry and Patti Smith are phenomenal. The intensity of both are striking, and I'm very happy to say, worth the price alone!

Amazon notification sez my copy arrives tomorrow. I've been excited for this forever (disclaimer: one teeny tiny reason is that I have 2 photos in it). The world needs more projects like this. Three cheers and then some more to Alison Fensterstock

Was PJ Harvey mentioned ? And

one of the best (modest) bandleaders/songwriters/great musician in rock : Poison Ivy.

Hi Michael... Yes PJ Harvey is written about in the book, however, no – there is no mention of Poison Ivy.
